“We share the stories that simmer beneath each dish, entwining the flavors of culture, memory, and community. We aim to nurture connection, inspire joy, and celebrate how food forever links us”

A student-run organization at Washington State University.

“Meals make the society, hold the fabric together in lots of ways that were charming and interesting and intoxicating to me. The perfect meal, or the best meals, occur in a context that frequently has very little to do with the food itself.”

– Anthony Bourdain

About

Coug Eats was created by four students at Washington State University for a school project. They wanted to create something meaningful and were inspired by heartfelt moments in their lives as well as the historical and cultural significance of food. With this project, they hope to encourage people to find the human connection in food. Stories and recipes are released on a monthly basis.
